Privacy policy

howtoplaymandolin.com collects as little as possible. We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to see which pages are useful. We do not sell personal information.

If you join our email list, we store your email address solely to send you the newsletter, and every email includes an unsubscribe link.

The interactive edition. When you open the interactive edition of one of our books at play.howtoplaymandolin.com, we keep your email address so you can sign in, with the dates you signed in, and a cookie keeps your device signed in. If you tick the box to hear about new tunes and books, we also use your address to send you news, and every email includes an unsubscribe link. We never share or sell your address, and we will delete it if you ask.

Buying a PDF. Payments are taken by Stripe, which sells our PDFs on our behalf and handles the tax. Stripe tells us the email address you paid with and what you bought, so we can give you the PDF and the interactive edition; we never see your card details.

Gear pages may contain affiliate links; the retailer may set cookies on their own site when you click through. See the affiliate disclosure.
